The basics of using School Run, and what we do and don't take responsibility for.
You must be 18 or over and the parent or guardian of a child (or otherwise responsible for them) to create an account. Keep your details accurate and your login secure. By using the service you agree to these terms.
School Run is a platform that helps parents find each other and arrange to share the school run. We are not a taxi, transport or childcare provider. Any lift or arrangement is made directly between parents, on their own responsibility.
We have no way to confirm that a member is who they say they are, or that they really attend a given school, and we can't rule out impersonation. Always meet a parent in person at the school gate and satisfy yourself it's safe before sharing any lifts or letting them travel with your children. You are responsible for your own decisions about who you trust.
Be respectful and honest. Don't harass, impersonate, or misuse other people's details, don't ask people to move off-platform to dodge safety features, and don't use School Run for anything other than arranging school runs. We can suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.
School Run is free and never handles payments. Lifts are shared on a goodwill basis. If parents privately share fuel costs, that's between them, and they should check it doesn't affect their motor insurance, see Trust & safety.
We provide the platform "as is" and, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the conduct of other members or for arrangements made between parents. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
You can leave a school or delete your account at any time from Profile & settings. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or pose a safety risk.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. See our Privacy policy for how we handle your data.
